Is it a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system?
Yes, iLend™ incorporates a CRM system into a specialised broker platform. This allows you to compile lists and send letters or emails to specific client groups, such as all 3yr fixed borrowers.
 
Is iLend™ web based?
No, iLend™ is a completely offline (local) system. However, it needs the internet to receive its updates and ensure your database is backed up daily.
 
How regularly is product information updated?
Finware update lender product information as well as other changing information such as tax rates, assessment criteria, stamp duty every day. Finware offers a financial guarantee for all Panel A lenders. Click here to read more.
 
Can I search and compare different products?
Yes. iLend™ has a very advanced search feature, which will let you find the mortgage/s that meet your clients needs and then compare up to five products in a simple to read table format.
 
How many lenders products are maintained?
There are more than thirty (30) lenders listed on iLend™. You can pick and chose which lenders you wish to see.
 
Can I add lenders to the list?
Yes, iLend™ allows you to add other lenders or to update your own products.
 
Can iLendTM calculate my clients borrowing capacity from different lenders?
Yes, our lenders assessment criteria and calculators are built into iLend™ allowing you to enter your client's details once to be able to see the borrowing capacity from over 20 lenders. Each of these lenders worksheets are also populated with your client's details, allowing you to print it off.
 
What type of reports are available?
There are many reports available as standard including Total Settled/Lodged/Approved, Loan Balance, Birthday, Anniversary, etc. Most reports let you chose your own date parameters and run the report by either Lender, Broker or Referrer. Finware can also build any specialised report your business requires.
 
Can I track my upfront and trail commissions?
Yes. iLendTM Commission Management system allows you to import your commission statements (from multiple sources at once), reconcile your upfronts and trails and prepare your own broker and referrer recipient created tax invoices (RCTIs)
 
Can I electronically lodge applications direct to lenders?
Yes. Using iLodgeTM, data that you have captured within iLendTM  is automatically populated onto lender application forms (Aus only). For New Zealand brokers, this module auto-populates the accrediated NZMBA application form.
 
Do I have to pay full price if there is only limited functionality I wish to use?

System (Operational)

 
How many users can be setup?
iLend™ is highly scaleable, it can be setup for one user or for more than a thousand users. Each user will require their own iLendTM licence.
 
Is iLend™ Compatible with Vista?
Yes. A number of our clients are already running iLend™ on their Vista system.
 
What security measures does iLendTM provide?
Finware provides all businesses with standard security, ensuring they receive a high level of protection. Select whether users share their data with other users in your group or whether they can just view their own data. Every user has a specific profile and password. Customised security is also available. In addition, all information sent across the internet to be backed up has digital certificate authentication (DCA).
 
If I have brokers located in multiple locations, can users still get access to each other's work?
Yes. As long as they have the security clearance.
 
Will iLendTM interface with my current email operating system.
No. iLendTM operates as an independent applicaiton. Although, you can send email from within iLendTM it will not replace your existing email system.
 
Does iLendTM synchronise with Miscrosoft Outlook?
Yes, including contacts, diary appointments and tasks.
 
Where is my data stored?
Depending on your preferences you can utilise Finware's hosted server options or setup your own server. When utilising Finware's hosted services iLendTM replicates or backs-up all information to a server. The superfast servers are maintained at a dedicated, purpose-built and best-of-breed data-centre.
 
Does Finware provide a back-up service?
Yes. iLendTM is automatically backed-up hourly.
 
Is iLend™ LIXI compliant?
Yes, iLend™ is compliant with the Lending Industry XML initiative.
 
Is Finware an aggregator?
No. We are independent of all aggregators and lenders. You can swap aggregators and keep your iLend™ software or change to iLend™ and keep your aggregator.
 
What operating system is it built in?
iLend™ is an IBM, Lotus Notes™ based system. The Lotus license is included with iLend™.
 
Am I required to get my own Lotus Notes Licence?
No, Finware looks after all Lotus Notes licencing requirements.

Can I install my iLendTM licence on 2 computers?
Yes. For personal use only. i.e. you have a PC at the office and home and you would like to have access to your iLendTM data in both locations.
 
How long does it take to set up iLendTM?
Finware can have you up and running in under a week.
 
Do I pay for updates?
No, iLendTM is continually being updated. Major updates occur every 8 to 10 weeks. These upgrades are all included in standard iLendTM costs.
 
 

Support/Training

 
Does Finware provide training?
Yes. Finware believes training is important to ensure our clients get the most from our system. We have onsite training with a certified iLend™ trainer, online training and self-help via online video tutorials.
 
Do I get  CPD Points for attending training?
Yes, CPD points are granted to trainees completing our Introduction to iLend™ training course (available on-site or on-line).
 
If I need assistance with iLendTM, what do I do?
Finware is committed to providing exceptional customer service. Technical support is provided for Finware applications during business hours; Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 6.00pm EST. Support can be accessed by our online iSupport network, by phone, or by email.

What payment options are available?
You can choose to pay either monthly or annually in advance by credit card, electronic funds transfer or cheque.
 
Is there a minimum contract period?
12 months is our standard contract term, however month to month options are also available.
